Dmitri arrived looking effortlessly put together, crisp shirt, fresh haircut, bright white shoes. Monica, on the other hand, showed up with wet hair and half-finished makeup after rushing out the door, like always, this time trying to rescue a tiny troublemaker who would later become their future cat, Olivia.
